 In my research there are two images that I always try to keep in my mind.The first is about a sculptor shaping clay. In some situations and for certain forms the sculptor will have to use some supports in order not to break down the clay. During the process of creating in his studio, he will use the first thing useful to his purpose. A piece of wood, rope or iron for building a "soul". What I'm trying to do in my work is to model a concept with clay and then remove it completely so that they can see the structure, the soul, the essence. |
| The second picture tells the '"overclocking". Overclocking is the process of running a computer component at a higher clock rate (more clock cycles per second) than it was designed for or was specified by the manufacturer. Taken to extremes the functions of a computer will cause an exceptional heat that is sometimes controlled by the use of liquid nitrogen. Even in this image are used the first things at hand to achieve its purpose as a container for milk, a piece of carpet and a plastic bottle. In this case, however, the goal is focused towards a concept closely linked to technology. This practice in itself contains a message that belongs to our time |

| In my works, the titles often become like a bibliography of a book. Objects, technologies, architectural elements are part of a process that is the work. The charm of the sound of a downpour of rain on a roof, a curtain moved by a hidden presence, or the shaking of a window become disenchanted at the moment of the vision in their entirety. In my creative process becomes crucial each element given by the context, be it from the exhibition space, or the materials available to people with whom I get in touch. Conceptually the work differs from the classic partnership. By assonance it is closer to the ‘open source philosophy’, and follows the process used for software, where the code source is free, modifiable and adaptable to new contexts or uses. |
